Business Idea
The reason why I made this concept is because I really am a fund of kids with special
needs or also called as “special children”. The thought that I can make a way for them
to express their selves was really heart melting to me. I’m not really good at arts but for
them, the fact that they are capable to do an art maybe not as good like ours, but they
can make an artwork more meaningfully. The fun, excitement and happiness it might
give to many children who need special attention and the inspiration that the normal
people may feel will be the highest profit of this business.
Social Purpose
The biggest disadvantage of being a sole trader is that you are totally responsible
for any debts your business incurs. If you go bankrupt, your creditors are entitled to size
and sell your possessions - personal as well as business.

Why will customer buy from you? What is your Unique Selling Preposition (USP)?
Our product, which is a painting, is not made by any professional in arts but by
the special children with special needs. Our raw materials will be just the normal things
that are usually used in making. In my preposition, is that, it”s not about the quality of an
arts work but it’s in the essence of “who made it”. To think that it is made by children
who are so pure, innocence, cheerful, and special is what our product makes special

Art-Switch
Said in their article: There’s nothing more exciting than a business that is artistically creative,
while at the same time working to enhance society. Art-Switch does just that. Founded in 2005
in London, England by Parag Shah, Art-Switch encourages the opening up of the art industry
since it is often reserved for elites. In an interview with the Guardian, Shah explains that the art
world is "a closed door to the uninitiated, with obscure and sometimes arbitrary prices to line the
pockets of wealthy dealers."
On its website, Art-Switch self-defines itself as a "library of original art." Its online art catalog is a
place where customers can buy and/or borrow pieces of contemporary art at fair and
transparent prices. Part of an attempt to expand art literacy and allow a larger segment of the
population to enjoy original artwork, Art-Switch gives the customer as much information as they
have. In order to ensure objectivity, prices are based on popularity.

Said in their article: The latest exhibit from Japanese art legend Takashi Murakami is
currently on display at Hong Kong's swanky Gagosian Gallery. The incredibly prolific
master of contemporary fine arts, Murakami, is known for his ability to repurpose ideas
from mass media and pop culture and creating memorable, visibly arresting sculptures
out of them.
For his latest exhibit, currently on display at the Gagosian Gallery, Murakami's art
reflects heavily manga-influenced animals and skulls. He is clearly at home when
mixing an inordinate amount of colors in one painting, as he displays in his skull piece.
The eye-catching piece is detailed enough to draw even the most casual art observer
into its brillant abyss.
The Gagosian Gallery in Hong Kong is a major tourist attraction and Murakami's latest
exhibit only further enhances that reputation. Exhibits like this seem to be a part of a
larger plan for Murakami, who is set on affecting the culture in which we live.
Nowadays social enterprise becomes the new business model and here are five
reasons why they believe social entrepreneurship is the new business model:
A social enterprise is a type of business where the bottom line and success metrics are
measured in more than just profits. Instead, social enterprises typically measure
success based on a triple bottom line:
People: The social impact of your business, and your ability to change lives and
develop a community in a sustainable way.
Planet: Your environmental impact; how you contribute to a sustainable planet or
reduce the carbon footprint (CO2 emissions) of your business and customers.
Profit: Like traditional businesses, they need to make money in order to sustain
themselves, pay workers and grow as an enterprise.
All the respondents gave their perception about this kind of social enterprise and
all of them have positive view. Most of them said that they love special children and
paintings. One of the respondents also said that this concept of business is raw and
unusual. And that child with special needs and painting is perfect combination. With
these comments from them makes the business more exciting to start.
