FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs):

Q1. When we can apply for the Scheme?

Ans: The Online Application for the Scheme will start from 25th March, 2019.

Q2. What will be the mode of application?

Ans: Application will be received through On-Line mode only. Application through any other mode
will not be accepted.

Q3. How this scheme is different from the existing “DDA Online Housing Scheme 2019”?

Ans: At present DDA Online Housing Scheme 2019 is for Surrendered One Bedroom/ Janta flats at
Narela, Siraspur, Ramgarh Colony and Rohini on First Come First Serve Basis. However, the new
scheme will be for allotment through draw of lots of newly built flats located at Vasant Kunj &
Narela and will consist of EWS, One Bedroom, Two Bedroom and Three Bedroom Flats.

Q4. Where the flats are located and what is the size of the flats?

Q5: What is the Tentative costs of the Flats?

Ans: The costing details along with detailed brochure containing terms and conditions will be
uploaded on DDA website from 25.03.2019 i.e before the start of online registration.

Q6: How this Scheme is different from previous Housing Schemes of DDA?

Ans: Following are the changes incorporated in this scheme:

Q7: What all types of reservations are available under this Scheme?

Ans: The details of reservations under this Scheme are as under:-

i. 15% of the flats for applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes;

ii. 7.5% of the flats for applicants belonging to Scheduled Tribes

Note:

If adequate numbers of applications are not received from applicants belonging to


ST Category, remaining flats shall be disposed of in favour of applicants belonging to
SC Category and vice-versa
iii. 1% for War Widows and those receiving liberalised pension from Armed/Paramilitary
Services (Next of Kin)

iv. 5% reservation for persons with disability as defined in Section-37(a) of the Rights of
persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

v. 1% for Ex-servicemen.

Q8: With which Banks DDA has tie-up for payment?

Ans: The name of banks will be mentioned in the detailed brochure which will be uploaded on DDA
website before the start of online registration on 25.03.2019.

Q9: How long the scheme will remain open?

Ans: The scheme will be opened for around one and half month. Exact dates will be mentioned in
the brochure. The draw of lot will be held after closure of the scheme.
