How safe are they

Ever since India has opened it's economy in 1992, major carmakers from fiat to general moters,
rushed to Indian shores to capitalize on the largely unexploited market. It was thought that India
had the potential to become one of the leading car markets, they were indeed right in their
assessment. Subsequently so many brands started pitching their products and cars became the
mainstay of luxury in Indian households. Cars sold like hotcakes and today India is the 5th largest
auto market.
