Standard 5000 psi Coiled Tubing Hydraulic Power Pack

The standard 5000 psi coiled tubing (CT) hydraulic power package
supplies all hydraulic power to the coiled tubing systems which
include the 45K through 135K injectors. The hydraulic power
package consists of a Detroit 6V92TA 425 hp engine package that
drives the hydraulic components through a gearbox. The power
package has an air tank that supplies enough air capacity for engine
starting, and a hydraulic tank for hydraulic oil supply.
The operator house contains the controls for operating the
unit. This unit is equipped with drip pans and plugs to allow
containment of all fluids on the unit. The power package consists
of the following hydraulic systems:

• Hydraulic tank and charge/cooling circuit

• Fan/charge pump circuit

• Crane/cooling circuit

• Injector circuit

• Reel circuit

• House and auxiliary/BOP circuit

Most of the coiled tubing system is powered or controlled

hydraulically. The hydraulic power package is mounted on the
crane trailer or skid and provides all the hydraulic pressure needed

to operate the individual components of the system.
