Antifoams/Defoamers:
Foam Blast® 551: Blend of reacted hydrophobic technology that provides concentrate
stability and very good letdown and application foam control. Recommended for semi-
synthetic and synthetic metalworking compounds, as well as alkaline cleaners.
Foam Blast® 552: Aqueous dispersion of reacted homopolymer, copolymer and
nonionic surfactant technology that is useful in soluble oils, semi-synthetic, synthetic and
vegetable oil-based metalworking compounds. Can be diluted with water to make a
tank-side defoamer.
Foam Blast® 553: Alkoxylated copolymer compounded with a unique hydrophobe to
provide excellent surface tension modification to eradicate foam. Highly compatible in
semi-synthetic and synthetic metalworking compounds.
Foam Blast® 554: Alkoxylated copolymer compounded with a unique hydrophobe
that offers maximum foam control for semi-synthetic and synthetic metalworking fluids.
Displays a high level of concentrate stability.
Foam Blast®555: Aqueous dispersion of alkoxylated hydrophobes and nonionic
surfactants producing a defoamer/antifoam system that offers maximum compatibility in
most metalworking systems.
Foam Blast® 556: Blended ultrafine particles in an alkoxylated hydrophobe base that
provides maximum foam control and compatibility in synthetic metalworking compounds.
Foam Blast® 557: Aqueous dispersion of reacted homopolymer, copolymer and nonionic
surfactant technology that is useful in semi-synthetic and synthetic metalworking compounds.
Foam Blast® 558: Blend of nonionic surfactants and ethoxylated alcohols that produces
a reacted hydrophobe offering excellent foam control and concentrate stability.
Foam Blast® 580: General-purpose defoamer that is effective and stable in electrolytic
and alkaline solutions. Can be used as a tank-side additive to control foam.
Foam Blast® 584: Highly efficient defoamer/antifoam that works well in metalworking
concentrates, but also as a tank-side additive for foam control. Very efficient and stable in
cleaners with extreme pH (2-14).
Foam Blast® 587: Water based defoamer/antifoam that offers good compatibility and
effective foam control in alkaline metal cleaners. Economical foam control product for
tank-side addition.
Foam Blast® 727: New generation antifoam developed for soluble oils and soluble oil
emulsions. Excellent compatibility in soluble oils and persistent foam control.
Foam Blast® 747: Highly effective concentrated proprietary defoamer emulsion,
optimized for stability and compatibility across a wide range of soluble oil and semi-
synthetic metalworking formulations.
