FUKUDA DENSHI SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

NOTICE TO USER: THIS SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT") IS A LEGALLY


BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN FUKUDA DENSHI CO., LTD. (“FUKUDA”) AND THE USER
(“LICENSEE”). PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. BY USING ALL OR ANY
PORTION OF THIS SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("SOFTWARE") THE LICENSEE HEREBY
ACCEPTS ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. FUKUDA RETAINS
ALL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF THE SOFTWARE. FUKUDA PERMITS THE
USE OF THE SOFTWARE ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF
THIS AGREEMENT STATED HEREIN.

1. Permitted Usage
This software product shall only be used on one (1) computer system exclusively.

2. License
Provided that the LICENSEE adheres to the terms of this Agreement, the LICENSEE is granted
a non-exclusive license to use the Software. The LICENSEE may install and use this software
in accordance to the usage guidelines and restrictions stated herein.

3. Restrictions
3.1 No Copy
The LICENSEE shall not copy, nor provide the opportunity for any third party to copy the
SOFTWARE in any way, form, or manner except in accordance with applicable law and this
Agreement.

3.2 No Modifications
The LICENSEE shall not modify, adapt, alter, nor translate the Software in any way, form or
manner, nor provide the opportunity for any third party to do so. The LICENSEE shall not
attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover or deduce
the source code of the Software, nor provide the opportunity to do so to any third party.

3.3 No Transfer
The LICENSEE shall not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, assign nor transfer his/her rights to the
Software, nor authorize all or any portion of the Software to be copied to any third party.
4. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
FUKUDA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE PERFORMANCE NOR THE RESULTS THAT MAY
BE OBTAINED BY THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY
APPLICABLE LAW TO THE LICENSEE IN LICENSEE'S JURISDICTION, FUKUDA MAKES
NO WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS OR TERMS, EXPRESSED OR
IMPLIED, WHETHER BY STATUTE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, USAGE OR OTHERWISE, AS
TO ANY OTHER MATTERS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NON-INFRINGEMENT OF
THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, INTEGRATION, SATISFACTORY QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT IS FUKUDA LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, CLAIMS OR COSTS,
CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, NOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR
LOST SAVINGS, EVEN IF A FUKUDA REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS, DAMAGES, CLAIMS OR COSTS OR FOR ANY CLAIMS BY
ANY THIRD PARTY. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY APPLIES TO THE EXTENT
PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN LICENSEE'S JURISDICTION. FUKUDA’S
AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT SHALL
BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE, IF ANY.
Nothing contained in this Agreement limits Fukuda’s liability to the LICENSEE in the event of
death or personal injury resulting from Fukuda’s negligence or for Tort of Deceit (fraud).

6. EXPORT RULES
The LICENSEE shall not ship, transfer nor export the Software into any country other than the
LICENSEE's country in which the LICENSEE is residing and is permitted to use the Software.

All rights to use the Software are granted on the condition that such rights shall be forfeited upon
the LICENSEE’s failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement stated herein.
Install Procedure

1. Insert Software CD.

2. On the “Start” menu, click “Run…”, and start the SETUP.EXE from the EFS-200 software.

1) If you agree to the “Licence Agreement”, click Agree .

2) Select the destination folder to install the program, then click Next.
3) Select the language, then Next.

4) Select whether you want to create a desktop icon or not.

5) When the install procedure is completed.


Click Finish .

※ when the EFS-200 is installed for the first time, it is necessary to first start the EFS-200.
※ By starting the EFS-200, it will be correlated to the extension file. (.ECG)
3. When the setup is complete, the EFS-200 will be registered to Windows.

※ The EFS-200 can be started by double-clicking the short-cut icon(if present), or by clicking
“EFS-200” on the Start/Programs menu.

4. To uninstall the EFS-200, follow the procedure below.

1) Open the “Control Panel” window.


2) Double-click “Add or Remove Programs”.
3) From the install program list, select “ECG Filing Software EFS-200”.
4) Click Change / Remove .

5) Click Yes .

6) When the uninstall procedure is completed.


Click Finish .
Initial Startup

1. Password Registration
When using the “ECG Filing Software EFS-200”, a password is required.
The password is issued by Fukuda Denshi (Tokyo)(“Fukuda”).
Fukuda’s distributor will inform displayed key code to Fukuda and Fukuda will provide you
with a password corresponds to the key code.
Once the password is entered, this window will not be displayed.

1) Enter the password

2) Click Setup . (See Drive Setup)

★ The trial period is 7 days.


After that you will not be able to start the program.
If you click Cancel on the password entering screen, the following
will be displayed.

2. Drive Setup
After starting the EFS-200 and entered the password, it is necessary to perform the drive setup.

1) Go to Set up.

2) Then Options.

3) Set up each folders and drives.
