Summary: Experiment dealt with changes in thickness of the thin film and investigation of transmittance of
film by varying temperature.

2. Title: Design of Mixer-Settler Extraction Unit and Determination of Efficiency

Guide: Dr Arijit Ganguli
Summary: Following project was based upon understanding and applying basic principles of mass transfer
operation where the team was aimed to determine efficiency of Mixer-Settler Extraction unit using the
provided feed conditions.

4. Title: Design of a Steam Generator

Guide: Dr Shweta
Summary: Based upon fundamental principles of Generators in Heat Transfer, a Steam Generator was
constructed and electricity was generated.

5. Title: Study on Linear Alkyl Benzene

Guide: Deepak Kunzru
Summary: A profound study was done about the chemical named Linear Alkyl Benzene and its derivatives
along with the flow sheet of synthesis, market, manufacturing and applications.

1. Title: Survey of Type-I and Type-II Diabetes
Summary: Following task consisted of studying various factors that cause diabetes such as food habits,
negligence to exercise and heredity. Blood samples from different areas of Ahmedabad were collected,
investigated and a report was produced

Guide: Mr. Anand Saboo
Summary: This activity aimed to enhance the current fashion of dentures and to make it easy for elderly
people. Problems like heavy weight, corrosive material and cost were taken into account and a small
prototype was made.
