I. OBJECTIVES
a. Identify Maracatu of Africa and its musical instruments;
b. listen perceptively to the different musical forms of African vocal music; and
c. sing African vocal music "che-che-kule" accompanied with simple dance steps.

IV.VALUING
"What do you think is the importance of studying the African vocal music?"
- I realized that the Spiritual form of African music is associated with a deeply
religious person and it was their way of worshipping God.
- It is important to study African music because I realized that the different emotions that
we feel were connected with different vocal forms of music and we recognized it through them.
