 CORE VALUES
Core values are what support the vision, shape the culture and reflect what an institute values.
The core values are the basic elements of how we go about our work. They guide us if we are
going on the right path or the wrong. Staying in university we should be committed to our core
values so that we can succeed in our life. There are many different core values but the core
values that were discussed in the seminar are:

 Integrity
 Excellence
 Community
 Respect for the dignity of each human being
 Discipline and accountability for my actions
 Fairness and justice
 Service

INTEGRITY:
Integrity is one of the core value. Staying in campus we should be responsible and honest
with all people around. Because having integrity and being honest are fundamental
requirements if we want to grow up spiritually. We need to be honest not with people
but with ourselves first. Being honest, we will be considered real and being dishonest we
will be considered fake so we need to fulfil our commitments and responsibilities as
honesty produce trust which in turn produce confidence.

EXCELLENCE:
Excellence commits us to challenge ourselves to utilize our God given gifts like
intellectual, social and physical. Excellence is the mindset that drives us to do better. So we
should set our standards high and honor the traditions of the university.

RESPECT FOR THE DIGNITY OF EACH HUMAN BEING:

Respect moves us to understand the gifts and unique contributions of every person in
the university community and to value diverse perspectives. Dignity of human person is the
foundation of a moral vision for society. As all human beings are equal, so being Muslims, we
should treat everyone with kindness and respect. We need to respect each and every person in
the campus either he is Hindu, Muslim or whatever.
DISCIPLINE AND ACCOUNTABILITY FOR MY ACTIONS:
We should be responsible so I will be responsible for all the actions whatever I do in the
campus. Being a good student, will try to follow all the rules and regulations of the campus. As to
be a successful student, we need to be disciplined in each and every aspect of life.

FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE:

As all people are equal, so each person should be given his /her right. We need to be fair
in all decisions, whatever we make, with every person in and out campus. Show equality and
justice towards everything as being a Muslim it is the fundamental right of everyone and fair and
just people are given equal respect. I will always try to make sure that I will not be unfair to
anyone.

SERVICE:
Education is one path to serve the humanity so being educated person of society we
should serve fellow human beings. Our goal should to serve the society through education. We
should help others without excepting the same in return because helping others give us a sense
of purpose and satisfaction. As

Service to man is service to God

At the end I want to conclude that we should commit our self to these core values. As core values
of a person shows who they really are and guide their choices throughout their lives. Enables us
to speak the truth and to take right decisions , because it is our decision that will dictate the
course of our life and career.
