This is a picture of a horse I have taken in the

horse stables of the equestrian center. I took the
photo in portrait mode and made sure the sun
was behind the horse. This provided good light-
ing for the photo and made the horse appear
more majestic and attractive. This photo would
be suitable for my front cover as it clearly shows
the horse's face and would fit nicely with fea-
tures such as coverlines and a masthead around
it.

This photo was also taken at the horse stables in

the equestrian center. The reason I chose this lo-
cation is because the horse is standing on sand
which represents Arabian horses as they are from
the desert. I ensured to place the horse there as the
equestrian arena can be seen behind it. Also, I
made sure the sun was behind the camera so the
lighting was good and the horse’s shadow could
be seen. This picture came out nicely because of
the clear blue sky contrasting with the sand on the
ground.

an center. This photo shows a known public fig-
ure in Qatar taking a photo with his daughter
while watching a horse jumping event. The rea-
son I took this photo is because it gives an exam-
ple of how families can spend a day enjoying
horse related events. I took this photo at night
but I ensured the lighting from the arena was
good for the photo.
 This photo was also taken at the equestrian
center during a horse jumping event. The photo
shows a proud owner of a horse watching his
horse take part in the competition. This photo
is suitable for my magazine as it represents the
pride and success of horse riding for the audi-
ence of horse riders and families. It also clearly
shows the horse jumping arena as the lighting
is very good.

This photo is a photo of the horse jump-

ing arena during the daytime. The rea-
son I took this photo in landscape mode
is to clearly see the whole view of the
arena and to see where the horses jump,
as well as the audience watching. I en-
sured the day I took this photo was a
sunny and clear day. The reason for this
is in order to give the image a positive
feel as it looks like a perfect day for
people to watch their horses and for
families to enjoy a day out.
