EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Evergreen Furniture Works Ltd was formed on the 1st of January, 2014 as a limited liability
company incorporated under the laws of Ghana, for the purpose of manufacturing quality
furniture products for the Ghanaian and international furniture market.

The Company is owned and managed by a team of dedicated individuals with a total of
30 years experience in the field of business administration, retail furniture, carpentry and
finance.

Evergreen Furniture Works Ltd is a furniture manufacturing business specializing in the making
and selling of household furniture, office furniture and classroom furniture as well as any other
type furniture the customer orders. We have a showroom that showcases our furniture
products to the public and also serves as a point of sale for our furniture. The design and style
of our products is unique. We offer superior quality and design at competitive prices. Our
target is the middle and higher income consumers, both in the domestic as well as the
international market.

The demand for furniture is ever increasing but currently, there are only three (3) furniture
manufacturers that operate within our target market and our company is in an excellent
position to capitalize on this opportunity and hence become the leader in the furniture
manufacturing sector.

Our furniture is made from both local woods such as iroko (African teak), ebony, sapele,
mahogany as well as exotic types such oak, maple, cherry, cedar etc.

Evergreen Furniture Works’ competitive advantage is its unique furniture design and
quality, coupled with a competitive pricing strategy, strong market demand, and a
strategic location close to suppliers, distributors, and consumers. The close proximity of our
wood suppliers also gives us better control over inventory of raw materials, and reduces the
risk of supply shortages.
