 CHAPTER 1

Introduction

The world nowadays lives in a fast phasing technology, one of the contributory

factors in giving people’s lives a convenient mean of living. An electrified powerbank

with Bluetooth speaker and microphone is a 3 in 1 device that can give help to the

people since technology today is becoming more advanced. This device has a

capacity to use microphone while charging and this device can use as a Bluetooth

speaker for bringing the mood alive.

Rationale of the Study

The advent of technology opens a wide gateway for gadgets and as we all know

that our today’s generation mainly revolves around technologies that came even through

our hands. If we can think when the time that the portable devices such as smart phones

become a part and growing more to our society it can’t be helped to become part of our

daily lives. To the extent that the entertainment communications and social networks we

make this project to make more improvements give an entertainment for our portable

devices to prolong the bond of the user within the gadgets.

According to Han Chao Chang (2013) a mobile power bank is cab be defined as a

portable charging system that can stores or collects and supplies power. The output of the

voltages of mobile power banks can provide sufficient power to mobile phones, tablets,

and any other digital devices at any time and place. In the current market, mobile power

banks possess modules with one more basic charging and discharging functions,

including such as a power bank with a light-emitting diode (LED), solar charging functions,

which recharge the device through a solar panel during usage and power indication, where
the remaining power is shown using a light or monitor. Considering the design trends for

mobile power banks available on the market, these power banks should be designed to

be lightweight, portable, and integrated with extra functionalities. Mobile power banks can

be used for recharging hundreds of times, therefore, a charging interface is required.

Generally, USB ports are used for battery charging, and USB 2.0 battery charging

specifications are adopted on the process.

The energy consumption has been a visible impact for our environment. However

for fast growing of world population had led us to quick rise in the need for energy, so to

fulfill the needs it is necessary for our renewable resources (Tanvir Sing, M.D, 2014).

This study also involve the Bluetooth speakers and Microphone for using a

battery for both the chargers. Speakers and Microphone are one of the devices

that has a lot of advantages. In a way that in a classroom it can be used by the

teachers so that the attention of the students will be get. For all these year’s music

has been presented as a way for us to see the beauty of life and we can express

our emotions. Whether we look at the start of sound recording, film, television or

the Internet, music has been a crucial participant in the social changes brought

about by these new tools for making and listening to music.

Through this study, we conduct an idea that would help us to make our life

easier and comfortable. This device allows us to make our own entertainment

without hassle in terms of charging while our mobile phones are out of battery and

in terms of listening to music while singing. Using this device where you and yours

friends could sing their hearts out in individual and singing with this device isn’t
about making yourself famous or seeking recognition from other people but to give

entertainment to yourself.

Purpose and Project Description

This Powerjam is more suitable to use for their presentation for student and for the

professors. This product is very useful and helpful for all the users, they can use it with or

without electricity and it can be rechargeable too and can entertain themselves. For the

security guards of school, they can use it when they get bore on their duty and it can be

helpful for them to use portable speaker, they can enjoy this product to chill or listen to

their favorite music and having a sing-along. And for the people who loves to listen for

their favorite music.

This powerJam is essentially an external battery in a sealed case. It comes with

Speaker and portable microphone and a USB cable you can connect it to a power source

such as a laptop to charge it. In either case, you carry the charged up powerjam and the

cable in your pocket, purse, backpack, briefcase or whatever and use it to charge the

phone using the same USB cable. The charging capacity can charge 3 or more mobile

phones at the same time and it can be used for entertainment. Portable powerbanks are

the devices that you can carry.

Significance of the Project

The Electrified powerbank accessories with Bluetooth speaker and Microphone

can be a beneficial to the people in a sense that it is convenient device and it can be use

as a stress reliever for the students nowadays that they are stress in all of their school

works and this could help the people who works at office to lessen their things that they

carry in work and also they can use this to ease their boredom.

This study represents about the review of our ideas that based on the picture’s that

was uploaded on the site that we’ve seen and to the point that this idea lead us on thinking

on how to cope up and lessen the boredom, the hustle for charging in a specific place and

making an easy and portable entertainment for everybody.

The word conservation can be defined as a process for regulating a maintenance

and can be a protection to prevent a damage, by using a way of preservation of a thing.

Conservation can be interpreted as an act of doing protection or giving a preservation, to

preserve something from damage, destruction, loss, or else worst. As the years go by the

higher the number of gadget users it is also followed by the increasing of battery-

dependent daily activities (Margareta et. Al, 2011)

Using the power bank charger with emergency solar panel has one of the standard

for industry chargers particularly of battery power, it has a charging options, and

recognition. It can carry 6,000 mAh of Lithium battery and it can be indictment most

smartphones more than once, and add hours of life to a tablet (Pogue, David, 2000).

A power bank is a device that can be used to insert an electrical energy to a

rechargeable battery. It has an electrical capacity so that when the energy that has in the

power bank and used it all, the power bank must be recharged by connecting it to an

electrical outlet. It is mostly used to recharge gadget batteries like phone, earphones,

tablets etc. The connector cable that was connected to the device to the power bank is
called USB connector, which can be connected to the other end of a USB charger port

(Zhang et al., 2017).

Portable battery device always develops from time to time, in its type of use,

capacity, and energy density (Pistoia, 2009). With battery Is the main component that was

attached to the power bank is and there is also other components that was attached

lithium-ion rechargeable battery type 18650 which functions as energy storage which

transforms chemical energy stored into electricity.

According to the study of Rukus, Eton Rugged (2012) the solar-power Bluetooth

speaker with USB charger is impeccable for enjoying the music that we listen every day

and everywhere we like to go it’s either at the beach, camping area or while driving for a

ride etc. and it is built for portable outdoor uses.

This device can be carry and to enjoy the mood whenever and wherever you

choose, by adding the microphone that a device that can captures audio by converting

sound waves into an electrical signal. It can be used to computer or other digital audio

device. Being able to hear well at school or in any private discussion it is a great privilege

for learning and adapting the general social interaction. Moreover in the past years

technologies are fast growing and different inventions are created.

In the other hand nowadays, most of the people preferred a portable gadgets that

can carry anywhere. A portable wireless Bluetooth microphone is created by a former

primary high school teacher for an entertainment for sing along and now it has spread

across the globe. It is developed by a Shenzhen-based company called Tosing, the

“karaoke magic machine” is a seemingly simple combination of microphone and

loudspeaker. When connected via bluetooth to a computer or a smartphone, it’s possible

to both play music via the wireless mic and sing along with help from its echo function

anywhere. (Vivienne Chow, 2017).
