a) As the first step, the frame is modeled in Sap2000 and the material used is concrete (C25).
A force of P = 146.5kN is applied at point B, and the moment at the right corner of the
frame is obtained (m = 120kNm) as shown below. The displacement and rotation of each join
is in the following table.

P = 146.45 KN
After obtaining a moment of 120kNm at the right side on the beam, a plastic hinge was placed at 0.001
from the end of the beam. Then on both sides of the hinge, a positive and negative moment of 120kNm
was applied. At this step, the force P is increased to 148.35kN and the moment on the left side of the
beam reached a value of 120kNm.

P = 148.35 KN
Now, we applied a hinge on the left side of the beam and increased the load P to 160.3 kN, the moment
values on the columns are obtained as 150kNm. Therefore, both columns fail at the same time.
