To whom this may concern:

We live in a world where cars pollute the air with gas fumes and create a havoc when it comes to
inflammation of gasoline prices. Tesla has sparked my interest ever since I heard about it, as the company
created its own alternating-current electric system in order to make the air we breathe healthier. Being able
to design completely electric automobiles is the most impressive feature I have seen from a company. Ever
since I was a little girl, I could dream about working on automobiles and learn about their complex systems.

I am a hard-working college student that is dedicated and has passion for my work. I attend the University of
Pittsburgh and am currently studying Mechanical Engineering for the Swanson School of Engineering. In the
past two years, I have been able to use my effective leadership and communication skills to experience
product testing and development in order to design and run a completed Mechanical Design project while
using Solidworks. The project was also created by hand in order to affectively see its abilities, which then
performed successfully. I have had the opportunity to how learn how to use coding in order to create
websites and formulas by using MATLAB, Mathematica, and Maple. In my academic life, I have been
consistently praised by my professors and peers for my problem solving techniques. Whether working on
academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven computer skills, interpersonal skills, and
project management, which I hope to leverage into the instructor role at your company.

After reviewing my resume, I hope you will agree that I am the type of competent and competitive
candidate you are looking for. I look forward to elaborating on how my specific skills and ability will benefit
your organization. Please contact me at (412) 805-8340 or via email at kac329@pitt.edu to arrange for a
convenient meeting time.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
Kayla Cast leb erry
