Option 1: Print Advertisement Directions
The format is up to you! You can design your ad on a computer or you may use traditional art
supplies. We just need a visual representation of your advertisement.

1. Design and create an advertisement for a product. You may choose and existing product or

you may create your own. (If you use an existing product you must still make your own

slogan and logo.)

2. Develop a slogan or tag line. (ex: “Just do it” – Nike)

3. Create a logo or symbol to represent your product or company.

4. Complete written response and submit it with your ad.

Written Response must include:

 Eight or more complete sentences (remember to use varied sentence lengths!)

 An explanation of your slogan and logo (why did you particular colors or symbols?)

 The persuasive techniques that you used

 An explanation of what makes your ad effective
