CHAPTER 5

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

The reason of this chapter is to abridge the research and suggest

recommendations for further analysis. The objective of this study is to

provide efficient transaction for the requisition of assets, It’ll be easy and

fast in requesting assets for the office head administrators and for the

property custodian in accessing the records to manage the asset by

having a computerize system. To develop an organize list for tracking of

the assets in monitoring. Every office has a administrators to do the

inventory of the office they are assigned, It’ll be easy to the property

custodian to track the assets of the school.

5.1 Summary of Findings

Based on the result and interpretation of the data, the researchers

were able to come up with the following findings.

1. The design system makes it more easier for the office heads to

request asset from the property custodian.

2. The software system can store all the asset information in a

secure database.

3. The system makes it possible to keep track of the all the assets.

5.2 Conclusion
67

Based on the testing, the functionality of the system was rated

highly functional with the mean of 4.5. It implies that the system

function in its essential purpose. In terms of reliability, the users rated

the system highly reliable with a mean of 4.25. It implies that the system

software delivered the reliability characteristics. For the usability of the

system the user rated the system highly usable with a mean of 4.41. It

implies that the system software delivered the reliability characteristics.

For the efficiency of the system the user rated the system efficient with a

mean of 4.17. It indicates that the performance of the system confirms

the capability of the system.

The proponents conclude that the St. Michael’s College Asset

Management System is a new innovation to provide much better way in

managing the assets. Through this system, it is accessible and hassle-

free for the property custodian to monitor which the asset can be

tracked, to manage the asset from different offices and it is efficient in

recording each of every asset. The transaction in requisition of asset is

easier and efficient for the personnel.

5.2 Recommendations

Based on the findings and conclusions of the study. These are the

following recommendations made for the future researchers:

 The proponents recommend to should have a notification for the

latest updates of the assets.

68

 The proponents recommend to have a picture in recording of each

asset for easy recognition.

 The proponents recommend to widen the feature of the Asset

Management System, the addition of bar code scan system in

managing the assets.
