Welcome Address for Moving Up Ceremony

I feel very privileged and honored to stand here in front of you all.

At various times in our lives, as students and teenagers, we witness or simply heard of the occasion
like this today, the Moving Up Ceremony. This is a culmination of our hardship and dedication to our
studies at the same time marks the beginning of a new field of endeavor.

A special greetings to our energetic and beloved school principal, Ms. Jocelyn V. Villa, to our
honoured guests, hardworking teachers, dear parents, my fellow students, ladies and gentlemen. A
pleasant day to all of you!

I warmly welcome you all to our Moving Up Ceremony here at Buenavista National High School.

I welcome our beloved parents and guardians, whose untiring support and unselfish concern for
our well being have brought us to where we are now.

I also welcome our dear teachers, whose patience and dedications in imparting to us the necessary
knowledge and wisdom to face future challenges and responsibilities have equipped us to become more
confident and secured individuals.

I also acknowledge God’s presence in this afternoon's gathering, that He will speak to us so that we
will remain humble with our early educational success. We thank the Lord for this achievement.

We sincerely offer this achievement to our Almighty God, who without Him, we will not be what
we are right now. And to our parents as well, this is our humble gift to all of YOU. Rest assured that we
would strive even harder to be the PERSON that we were meant to be. A PERSON you can all be proud
of someday.

So, in behalf of Grade-10 Completers, for the school year 2018-2019, I welcome you all to this
moving up ceremony which is the beginning of our time to step up on a higher level of development.
The time to show what is the best in us. The start of creating an innovative and progressive country out
from the skills and talents that we possess.

Classmates, fellow completers, I wish you all good luck for thecoming years in our lives. May the years to
come be kind to all of usand may God and His wisdom bless us with success. Once again,good

afternoon and Congratulations to all of us!
