Car ; You may hire Car upto Jaigaon / P/Soling. Fare would be around
2000/- - 2500/- for small car. For Innova kind of vehicles expect to pay upto

Train ; Take train upto Hasimara and then hire Cab / Auto to Jaigaon /
P/Soling.

1.from which side of siliguri we take train? how many fare? how many time it takes from siliguri
to Bhutan?
What do you mean by "from which side"? I do not understand.
You may check http://erail.in/?T=SGUJ::HSA for trains from Siliguri to Hasimara. I did the search
with Siliguri Jn. you may also check with Siliguri Town as starting station.
also please tell me how many time takes from siliguri to Bhutan by bus or private car?

Around 4-5 Hours.

2.how many fare of hotel or guest room in Bhutan?

You can get budget hotels starting from 1000/- - 1200/- in Thimphu and Paro.
3.in september mid how's the weather of Bhutan would be? cold? hot? or rainy?

September is almost end of monsoon, but still expect some light showers for some time within the
day.
4.which are the most beautiful place for visit?
Depends on your taste. Every person have different taste on beauty. For me, I loved travelling
through Thimphu, Punakha, Phobjika, Bumthang, Paro and Haa.
Thanks a lot for your kind reply.

I mean to say that, can we get train from Mallaguri,Siliguri johnson to any place of Bhutan?
In Mallaguri,Siliguri is their any train station?

1.How many fare from Mallaguri to Thimpu or Paro?

We're Bangladeshi.so we checked & passed from Changrabanda Border.then we collect private
Tata Sumo Jeep from Changrabanda Border to Mallaguri,Siliguri.
2.Can we take any direct train from Changrabanda Border?
3.Is their any train station in Changrabanda Border?

4.How many time it takes from Changrabanda Border to Thimpu or Paro?

5.How many fare from Changrabanda Border to Thimpu or Paro?

Thanking you for your kind information & support.

Regards,
Tamim.
Okay. I see you have few misconceptions. I'll try to clear them..

1.How many fare from Mallaguri to Thimpu or Paro?

A. There's no train till Thimphu and Paro which is in Bhutan. Infact Bhutan do not have any Railway
system. So you have to reach the nearest Indian Railway Station to the Indo-Bhutan Border and
then cross the border by Road.
There are many Indo Bhutan borders, but the Indo Bhutan border that you need to cross to reach
Thimphu and Paro easily is Jaigaon (indian side) and Phuentsholing (bhutan side).
And the nearest railway station to Jaigaon is Hasimara.

Hope that clears most of your misconception.

We're Bangladeshi.so we checked & passed from Changrabanda Border.then we collect private
Tata Sumo Jeep from Changrabanda Border to Mallaguri,Siliguri.
A. You can catch train from Siliguri Jn / Siliguri Town.

2.Can we take any direct train from Changrabanda Border?

A. There's no direct train to Hasimara from Changrabanda Border. You have to go via New Mall Jn.
or Alipurduar Jn. So either way you have to change trains at either of the above stations.
Check out trains for both the options at http://erail.in/?T=CBD::HSA

But, unfortunately connecting trains to Hasimara from both Alipurduar and New Mall Jn. is atleast
after 5 hours. So it'd a wise decision to move to Siliguri.
3.Is their any train station in Changrabanda Border?
A. Yes.

4.How many time it takes from Changrabanda Border to Thimpu or Paro?

A. Depends on your mode of conveyance.

5.How many fare from Changrabanda Border to Thimpu or Paro?

A. Again, there's no trains to Bhutan. Bhutan do not have any Railway system. You have to reach
the nearest station to Indo-Bhutan border and then cross the border by Road.

So you can't reach Thimphu / Paro same day any way. You have to stay at Jaigaon (indian side) or
Phuentsholing (bhutan side) for one night. Then next day you can move to Thimphu or Paro.

Thanks for your wise reply.

I can understand a little bit that We can't reach Thimpu or Paro by direct train line.after we checked
& passed from Changrabanda Border then collect private Tata Sumo Jeep from Changrabanda
Border to Mallaguri,Siliguri.then we go for Jaigaon (indian side) then Phuentsholing (bhutan side).it's
ok.

1.Is Hasimara in Mallaguri,Siliguri?

2.How many fare from Mallaguri,Siliguri to Jaigaon by train?

3.How many times it takes from Mallaguri,Siliguri to Jaigaon by train?

4.How many fare of hotel or rest house in Jaigaon (indian side) or in Phuentsholing (bhutan side)?

5.How can we move from Phuentsholing to Thimpu or Paro?

6.How many fare from Phuentsholing to Thimpu or Paro? by bus? or by private car?

7.How many times its take from Phuentsholing to Thimpu or Paro? by bus? or by private car?
Thanking you for impotant information & right guideing.

Tamim.

Correct. But one question from my side, if you are planning to hire a exclusive vehicle from
Changrabandha then why are you going to Siliguri? Why don't you directly go to Jaigaon?

1.Is Hasimara in Mallaguri,Siliguri?

A. No. You have to take train from Siliguri Jn. or Siliguri Town.

2.How many fare from Mallaguri,Siliguri to Jaigaon by train?

A. Again, there's no train till Jaigaon. The nearest station is Hasimara. From there you have to go to
Jaigaon / Phuentsholing by Cab / Auto.

And fare depends on the train. Check http://erail.in/?T=SGUT::HSA for fare.

3.How many times it takes from Mallaguri,Siliguri to Jaigaon by train?

A. From Siliguri Town / Siliguri Jn. it'll take you around 3 hours.

4.How many fare of hotel or rest house in Jaigaon (indian side) or in Phuentsholing (bhutan side)?

A. Don't stay in Jaigaon. Better stay in Phuentsholing side. You'd love the experience. Fares starts
from around 1000/-

5.How can we move from Phuentsholing to Thimpu or Paro?

A. By Taxi or Exclusive Vehicle / Bus / Shared Car

6.How many fare from Phuentsholing to Thimpu or Paro? by bus? or by private car?
A. Private Car : 2000/- - 3000/- depending on the type of car. Small car costs less and bigger
vehicles costs higher.

Shared Cab : 500/- per head

Bus : 240/- per head

7.How many times its take from Phuentsholing to Thimpu or Paro? by bus? or by private car?

A. Thimphu would be around 7-8 Hours and Paro would be around 4-5 hours.

If you are crossing border at Changrabandha then you can directly travel to Jaigaon/Phuetsoling
hiring a vehicle, why you want to take longer route via Siliguri.

Though its your choice to visit place but i would not suggest to visit Pokharaafter that.Pokhrara is in
central Nepal and you are just making your trip hectic.Pokhara would be more than 700 km from
Jaigaon. No trains in Nepal so you have to take train through india to Raxaul/Motihari/Gorakhpur and
then cross border and then bus.If you cross border to Nepal from Kakarbita (nearest to Siliguri) then
you have to use bus to reach Pokhara. Its just making your trip complicated.Better to spend few more
days in Bhutan and plan for Nepal separately .I dont have much idea about Indian visa
forBangladesh citizen but visiting Pokhra would need either 3 single entry visa or a multi entry visa.

I agree with Rahul in Nepal Part. And regarding warm clothes yes you can ofcourse carry warm
clothes. Don't try to buy it from there as it'd be costly there than your hometown.

And september is end of monsoon. Though it'd not rain heavily but expect some light showers for
some time within the day.

Thanks for your cordial reply about our mixed tour.

For Bangladeshi citizens we can travel via India to Nepal during 1 time in every year is free visa.

Last year we traveled Darjeeling & visit Miric is the border side to enter Nepal.but some of shortage
time we can't visit Nepal.so this year we've to plan for visit via Bhutan then back to siliguri & move to
Darjeeling & enter Nepal from Miric side.

Is it sweetable?

1.Can we enter Nepal from the side of Miric or any others nearest side from Darjeeling which is
easy?

2.What is the procidure to enter Nepal via Darjeeling's any side?

3.How many times it take to enter Nepal via Darjeeling's any side?

4.How many times it take to enter Nepal's Pokhra?

Thanks for your co-oparation in this matter.

Tamim.

I'd suggest you to ask Nepal related questions in Nepal Forum. Members over Nepal Forum would
be able to answer it much better than members here in Bhutan Forum.

Yes. You can Indian currency in Bhutan. Though officially it's written that
denominations of 500/- and 1000/- but in practice in Thimphu and Paroeverything
will be accepted.
But beyond Thimphu and Paro, it's better to carry Nu. only.

Dear Tamim,
Please think of an option to contact a travel agency and let them organize your trip
at a reasonable cost or at the budget you have so that you don't have to go under so
many hassle and at an unsure places in Siliguri. Tour operators who handle Indian
clients have very good experience and they can just pick up from your arrival point
and make your trip a momentous one.

1. Changrabandha to Jaigaon will take around 2.5 - 3 hours. Crossing border formalities may take 15
minutes to 2 hours depending on the rush. Yes without the permit you are allowed to stay within 5
KM radius without the permit. Permits are only checked when you try for proceed towards Thimphu.

2. P/Soling to Paro takes around 4 Hours. Yes 2 days in Paro is enough to do all the sightseeings.

3. Paro to Thimphu takes around 1.5 hours. Yes 2 days in Thimphu is enough to visit all the points.
