DIVISION ORIENTATION ON DEPED COMPUTERIZATION PROGRAM (DCP) FOR BATCHES 35, 40-44
RECIPIENT SCHOOLS THROUGH POSITIVE USE OF ICT IN TEACHING AND LEARNING

1. To capacitate all DepEd Computerization Program packages under Batches 35, 40-44, a 3-day DCP orientation
through positive use of ICT in teaching and learning shall be conducted on April 23-25, 2019 at a venue to be
announced later.

2. This orientation aims to:

a. Explicitly discuss the DCP Manual

b. Capacitate schools in the utilization of DCP Packages
c. Provide appropriate TA to recipient schools
d. Conduct M and E among recipient schools
e. Gather DCP issues, concerns and relevant reports

3. The participants of the orientation are the two (2) District ICTs, one (1) elementary and secondary school heads,
one (1) property custodian and District Supervisors. Teacher participants shall be entitled of service credits
pursuant to existing policies and guidelines of the Civil Service Commission.

4. Registration is free however participants are advised to bring of mobile internet, laptop and extension wires. Also,
participants per district are required to bring Inventory of DCP Recipients in their respective districts to include
documentation of their best practice relative to DCP Utilization in a 3 minute video presentation.

5. All expenses incurred from this orientation shall be charged against DCP Package Orientation fund subject while
travel expenses shall be charged against school MOOE/Local funds subject to usual accounting rules and
regulations.

6. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
