Why do you use Twitter as a platform to promote yourself? What is special about Twitter?

As an Influencer, I like promoting myself and I hope every tweets can be viewed by everyone to gain
influence and followers. I will feel happy when people start following my story and share their happiness
with me. I use Twitter because twitter is a good platform for public environment, every twitter user to
search any relevant tweets and it is an advantage for my tweets can be viewed by everyone if they
search with certain keyword. Besides, Twitter users can see their followers’ tweets in users’ ‘timeline’ to
see the latest tweets of the followers and share it with others instantly. What make twitter special is it is
easy for everyone to comment and share of the tweets even the users might not friend with each other,
as long as they feel interest about the similar things, they can follow and contribute to discussions on
the tweets. It is easier to achieve many followers on twitter compare with other social media.

People tend to assume that influencers are less likely to be affected by such actions(referring to
cyberbullying and the effects of it).”ignorance is bliss”. What is your opinion on that?

In order to attract more followers, the influencers have to make interesting and meaningful tweets in
short time to let their followers continue to see their tweets and follow them. Usually Influencers always
improve themselves by looking the feedbacks given by the followers in their tweets. However, there
might be someone will act like he/she doesn’t feel comfortable about the tweets and say somethings
bad about the tweets and the influencers without thinking others’ feeling which we call it cyberbullying.
It is not good for the influencers when they receive these negative feedbacks in their tweets and we will
feel sad as we want to make our followers feel comfortable to see our tweets. So what can we do is we
will look at it to see what we can improve from their comment and we will ignore their negative
emotion towards us. Because social media user can enter anything they like in good or bad ways and
others might not know him because the account can be fake and their information can be hidden. If we
care too much about these irresponsible feedbacks and let them affect us, we might feel that we are not
that good to express ourselves and stop uploading tweets. It is not fair for other followers who like and
feel happy to see our tweets. We must stay strong for the followers who always support us from the
start.
