I received my Associate’s Degree in
Education (P-12) from Raritan Valley - Writer’s Week in Grade with Miss
Community College. I went on to obtain
my Bachelor’s Degree from Kean
November
Gerlach!
University with a specialty in Speech,
Language and Hearing Disorders and I
- Science Fair in January
plan to get my Master’s Degree in that

Classroom Etiquette

In room B8, we practice kindness, hard
work, and respect. We learn to encourage
others to be their best and we include all
into our learning community. We do not
give up on ourselves and we are a friend
to everyone who walks through our door. IMPORTANT
In our class we do not accept defeat or
negativity. We learn to grow from our CONTACT
mistakes. We do not use our words or
actions to take anyone down, we practice

compassion and learning to build them
up.

will be addressed directly. As
punishments are not growth-oriented, we
do not punish in B8. When behaviors
need to be addressed, students will have
a discussion with the teacher about the
natural consequences of their behavior
and ways to productively grow. Behavior
plans can be made and devleoped if
further action is needed for a particular
student.

a good night’s sleep and eat a
good breakfast before school.

Lunch and Snack Policies
Our school is a nut free environment so If there are any

picture book to read to the class. Your
Music Gym Library and student may also bring in something from
Spanish home to share with the class.

volunteers that sign up at Back to School
For gym class, please have your child Night. There will be a $5 dollar collection

Our school has a strict policy that any
visitors need to sign in at the main office
before they may enter any classrooms. We
love having parent involvement and we
ask that you email prior to your visit so we
can count on you to assist our learning at
that time!
