Event Description: The De Stad Cross Cup returns to the very popular University of Saint Mary
venue. Come enjoy what many have said is the “best cyclocross venue” , a challenging fun course,
raffle, great food and a fun event.

Course Description: Course will be a 1.8 mile loop that includes an uphill start/finish on cobbles,
tarmac, grass, sand, steep run-ups, flowing and off camber turns all within the beautiful setting of
the University of St. Mary campus. This will be the best course of the year so do not miss it.

Directions to course: From Kansas City, take I-70 West to Bonner Springs. Take KS-7 exit. Take
KS-7 North to Eisenhower Road. Turn left on Eisenhower (West) and then turn right on Hughes
Road (just past Hallmark Plant), and go North until you see the signs for the back entrance to
University of Saint Mary’s. Address: 4100 South 4th St • Leavenworth, KS 66048

Parking: On event day, please remember that parking will be permitted in designated areas only. No
exceptions will be made. Arrive early enough to park and register. Please consider sharing a ride to
help save resources.

Registration Instructions: Online registration is with Sports Base Online (additional fees apply).
Save time and become eligible for the raffle by pre-registering at www.kansascitycross.com. Riders
will be called to the line based on order of registration. Race day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. .
Registration closes Thirty (30) minutes before posted start time. Enter a second event for an
additional $10.00

Race Rules and Information:

• Held Under USA Cycling Event Permit 2010-2885 — All USAC Cyclo-Cross rules apply.
• USAC license required for all categories
• One day licenses available (fee $10.00).
• CPSC approved helmets required for all events and must be worn at all times.
• Mountain bikes are allowed, but must have the bar ends removed.
• Events held regardless of inclement weather
• Entry fee includes $3.00 for insurance and $1.00 KCA Fee
