To evaluate the efficiency of the moringa seed extract as a coagulating agent,
extracts obtained by blending were prepared in 1, 2 and 3 grams of
moringa seeds in each 100 mL of distilled water (solutions of 10, 20 and 30 g L-1 in seeds), the suspension being subsequently filtered in a 1 mm mesh. The solution prepared was stored in a refrigerator (4 ° C) and used the day after its preparation. Before mixing the coagulant in the study waters, they were acidified with sulfuric acid (1 mol L-1) until pH was obtained around 4.2, as recommended by Matos et al. (2007) and Chagas et al. (2009)
