replaced; a second drawing is then made. What is the probability that
(i) the first number drawn is even and the second odd?
(ii) The first number is odd and the second even?
(iii) How will the result (i) and (ii) be effected if the first counter drawn is not replaced.

probability that both the numbers are odd.

solved.

smoker is 2/5 and a male, if a smoker is already selected is 2/3. Find the probability of
selecting 9i) a non – smoker (ii) a male and (iii) a smoker, if a male is first selected.

Balls Blue Black Red
Urns
I 4 3 5
II 3 5 7
III 5 2 4

output. Also out of these output of A, B, C 4%, 4% and 5% respectively are defective. A bolt
is drawn random from the total output and it is found to be defective, what is the
probability that it was manufactures by the machine A?
