NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE COUNCIL CONTACT COORDINATOR

The position of Council Contact is one of those
important duties that, unfortunately, get lost in the day to
day routine of the life of the assembly. There really isn’t
an official listing of the duties of the Council Contact but
this is a good basic description of what needs to be done.
 Attend the meeting or have someone attend
 Give a report at the council meeting
 Have a report for the council’s newsletter
 Promote the activities of the assembly

COMMANDER JOHN J. SHEA, FA ASSEMBLY #729 1ST NEW YORK DISTRICT

ADMIRAL’S MESSAGE
I apologize if you have read this item before, but it bears repeating, especially at this time of the year. Jesus died for our
sins and rose again on the third day. The Passion and Resurrection of Jesus are what we remember and celebrate during
this Easter season. Read and enjoy this item and perhaps internalize the message of the anonymous author.

RECALL NOTICE: Read Carefully

The Maker of all human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in
the primary and central component of the heart.
This is due to the malfunction in the original prototype units, code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of
the same defect in all subsequent units.
This defect has been technically termed “Sub-sequential Internal Non-Morality,” more commonly known as S.I.N.
Some other symptoms include:
1.Loss of direction, 2. Foul vocal emissions, 3. Amnesia of origin, 4. Lack of Peace and Joy, 5. Selfish of violent
behavior, 6. Depression or Confusion in the mental component, 7. Fearfulness, 8. Idolatry, 9. Rebellion. The
Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of
charge to correct this SIN defect. The repair technician, Jesus, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of
the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required. The number to call for repair is: P-R-A-Y-E-R.
Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download
ATTONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.
No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1.Love, 2. Joy, 3. Peace, 4. Patience, 5. Kindness, 6. Goodness, 7. Faithfulness, 8. Gentleness, 9. Self-control.
Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (Believers’ Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the
use of these fixes. For continued good running condition perform weekly maintenance at a shop near you called the
“Church” (Christians U R Called Home).
WARNING: Continuing to operate the human unit without correction voids any manufacturer’s warranties, exposing the
unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded.
DANGER: The human units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect
will not be permitted to enter Heaven to prevent contamination of that facility.
GOD
Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time
by “knee-mail.”

Lady Patricia and I wish you and you families a Holy and happy Easter.
CAPTAIN’S CHAIR
It is that time of year we are preparing for the upcoming assembly events. On May 5, 2019 we will be remembering our
deceased brother Sir Knights at our annual Memorial Mass. As usual, the mass will be at Saint Isadore’s Church in
Riverhead, followed by a dinner at the Polish Hall right across the street. The dinner will be $45 per person. Let your
council know about this event and maybe buy a table.
We will also be putting together a commemorative journal, try to get an ad from your council, brother Sir Knights or a
local business. No ad is too small. Information for the Memorial Mass and the journal ad contract will be available in the
Commander’s Log, as well as at the meetings. Do not wait until the last minute, make reservations now and get the
journal ads in as soon as possible. The deadline for journal ads has been extended to April 19, 2019.
We have a Night at The Races at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Center on May 25, 2019. Doors open at 6:30 PM
and the races start at 7:30 PM. See the flyer.
Faithful Captain, Sir Knight Robert W. Elliott
