1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

4 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Hepatitis Exposure

5 Prevention Act of 2019’’ or the ‘‘HEP A Act of 2019’’.

1 SEC. 2. VACCINATION FOR HEPATITIS A IN AREAS AT RISK

2 OF A HEPATITIS A OUTBREAK.

3 The Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting

4 directly or by entering into contracts or awarding grants,
5 may administer vaccinations for hepatitis A, at no cost
6 to the inoculated, in any area within a State for which
7 there is in effect a declaration by the Governor of the
8 State designating such area as at risk of a hepatitis A
9 outbreak
