Assignment Title: Q3 End of Unit Greed

Student Writing Goal: my goal for this assignment is to improve the format and language usage. Making my paper
sound more intelligent and raising my grade to a B or higher.

1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.
3) Revise the paper accordingly and highlight any changes.
4) Submit the revision and this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this assignment was to demonstrate how some people still fall into greed and how it’s been
going on since the beginning of time. Greed has always occurred to every person and made them do terrible
things and hurt a lot of people.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I did well on the rubric. I got an 85 percent for an overall grade and beat my previous assignment. My
expectation was to get a 70 percent but I exceeded it and top my last score. I only found sources that where
history related and most of the time those are plain and original.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I did well on applying the greed to the most famous people that hurt others due to their actions. They fell into
greed by either wanting more power or to just satisfy their need in the world.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I choose to revise my paper because it needed some work after I submitted it. The work cited wasn’t set up
right and the citing the quotes was wrong. I needed to fix those small mistakes so it would look more
professional. Fixing my paper is important because it helps me and my grade.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I will make my assignment better by rereading it myself and then have someone else red it to make sure it
sounds clear. Double checking my wok will help improve my grade and fix any correction that needs fixing.
Each of the paragraphs needs to be perfect so I can get a better score then my previous one.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I passed my goal by 5 percent because my goal was a 80 and I got a 85 in my paper. My goal was to make
sure I will pass the class and keep my B and it worked and I will have a close A as a final grade. Passing m
previous goal is a huge success is a big deal and helped me improve my knowledge about writing long
paragraph essays.
