2. PROBLEM

Plants are living beings that live adhered to the soil and cannot move. Because of this, the
place where the seed germinates varies according to the availability of water, nutrients
and light. Of these abiotic factors, light plays a very important role throughout the
biological cycle of a plant as it acts as a "fuel" in the process of photosynthesis favoring the
development of leaves, stems, roots and flowers.
However, environmental conditions are not always stable; some resources may be scarce
or limited for plants, for example the availability of light. Your task will be to determine:
What happens to a plant sown in an environment in the absence of light?
