JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : General Accounting Staff 1
Department : Finance and Accounting
Division : General Administration
Reports to : Accounting Manager

I. OBJECTIVE(S):
He/she is responsible in the preparation of vouchers and recording and maintenance of
Accounting Books and subsidiary ledgers.

II. SCOPE OF WORK (Responsibility, Accountability & Expectations)


1. Recording of Books
a. Cash Receipts Book
b. Accounts Payable Book
c. Cash Disbursement Book
2. Preparation of voucher payables
a. Manually
b. Encoding of A/P voucher
c. VAT Relief Preparation – Sched. of input taxes from AP & Importation
3. Preparation of entries and adjustment on liquidations, replenishment of funds.
4. Journal vouchers preparation
5. Maintenance of subsidiary ledgers
6. Assist in providing audit materials during year-end audit.
7. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS STANDARD

EDUCATION
 Must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree in Accountancy

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
 Knowledgeable of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
 Has experience using accounting software and database.
 Advance computer skills on MS Office especially Excel

 Preferably with Accounting Software experience

 Patience on interacting with internal and external clients
