ABOUT THE FDP
Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of
Delhi, Delhi – 110089 is organizing a Faculty Development
Program which is aimed at covering the numerous developments
taking place in the area of econometrics and related software
applications. The pressure on the faculty, researchers and
professionals is increasing every day. Hence, it has become
imperative to continuously capture the latest complexities and
uncertainties of today’s highly dynamic research environment as
the traditional tools and techniques have proved ineffective to
capture the reality. Therefore, it becomes essential for every
faculty, researcher and professional to equip himself/herself with
the emerging tools, techniques and methodologies. This FDP is a
step forward in this regard and is aimed at providing an
opportunity to researchers to make them capable of handling
uncertainties, complexities and volatilities of the research world.
This FDP has been designed to provide practical exposure to the
participants with regard to formulation of the research problem
and testing them through suitable econometric tools on
contemporary research software packages.
