Functions of the Division 1. Manage and operate the operations of national and critical
government application and data services;
2. Ensure reliable and secure operations, leveraging private
sector capacities whenever possible; and,
3. Provide technical support to private sector partners providing
government ICT application and data services.

Position Computer Maintenance Technologist II (CMT2)
Salary Grade 15
Position Summary Under the general supervision of the ITO2, the CMT2 provides
technical support to the ADSMD by performing preventive
maintenance, basic testing, and corrective maintenance on
computer peripherals and computer networks installed in the
IDCs.

Educational Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the position

Work Experience 1year of relevant experience
Training 4 hours of relevant training
Civil Service Eligibility Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility,
PRC ECE Technician
Key Functions • Undertakes activities requiring application of technical
knowledge, skills, and experience
• Reviews, evaluates, and monitors projects and activities
• Provides administrative and technical assistance
• Performs tasks as may be assigned.
Essential Duties & 1. Program and Service Delivery (100%)
Responsibilities a. Ensures that basic test equipment are in good working
condition
b. Manages the repair services to be outsourced in case of
breakdown
c. Files documents recording operational status of the
servers and network systems
 d. Assists in the preparation of incident reports in case of
technical and systems breakdown
e. Assists in organizing and scheduling preventive
maintenance activities
f. Assists in the preparation of Terms of Reference as basis
for outsourcing either preventive maintenance or repair
services and Operational Status Reports of the Servers
and Network Systems

Other Duties • Provides inputs needed for responsive participation in intra-

agency committees
• Performs other functions as may be assigned
Physical Requirements • May need to work long hours and occasionally on weekends
• because of the 24/7 operations
Working Condition • Regular office setting
