form unexpected bonds. They undergo unex-
pected transformations. While the plot is just
this side of deranged, the story is a compulsive
read and overlong, but otherwise compelling
and highly engrossing. Nine Perfect Strangers
is a roller coaster of a read with beautifully de-
veloped characters who are full of insecurities
and false bravado but who are completely relat-
able.
Once you start reading this book it will be
