Cumulative Grading System Activity

In order to determine your grade at the end of the semester, you must calculate your
cumulative total for each six weeks. Then you must total the number of cumulative points
earned in the semester and divided that number by the cumulative points possible for that
semester. The percentage should be converted to a letter grade using the seven point parish
grading scale.

Practice your understanding of the new grading procedure by adding the CUMULATIVE Points
Earned and CUMULATIVE Points Possible over the three six week periods in Semester 1. HINT:
At the end of the third six weeks, the cumulative points possible should be 435.

Grading Scale:
100-93 =A 92-85 =B 84-75 =C 74-67 =D 66-0 =F
