Soil Texture

You have been given three different types of chocolate. Each chocolate has different 
properties that represent the soil textures and components we have been talking about.  
 
When you have your chocolates, choose one to break apart. Each partner should have 
half of a chocolate. Rub the chocolate in your hand with water so the chocolate begins 
to separate. Record your findings in the table below. Determine if your chocolate is 
made up of mostly sand, silt, or clay. Repeat for all chocolates.
