I think that this organization can be
a beneficial tool for networking with other
teachers, leaders, or educational
professionals where they can share and
develop ideas for groundbreaking new-age
technology while making connections in the
educator community.

Reflection
 Going through this assignment has
opened my eyes to the different resources
that are available for educators to develop
the use of technology in the classroom. A
lot of the things I have learned can be used
on a daily basis to help achieve new age
educational technology use in my practice.
The first example of this is the use of the
standards for educators that are created by
ISTE. While exploring these I can see that I
can use them to develop my knowledge of
the pedagogical approaches made possible
by technology.
The second big area of information
that I could see myself using in my practice
are the ISTE events that give information
about news and current events in the
educational technology community. These

ways to incorporate technology into my
practice. It will keep me up to date on the
new-age groundbreaking areas that can
improve my students’ learning.
The last way I can see myself
incorporating what I have learned in the
organization into my practice is through the
community aspect that members are a part
of. This builds collaboration and an area
where teachers can share and develop
ideas together. It could help me to build my
leadership skills and join peers who are
interested in the same issues and topics
that I am. This could better my practice in a
huge way.
