In order to the jazz style properly, you must have a concept of how good jazz sounds.
Below, in section I, list at least five jazz musicians for your instrument. Try to find artists
from different eras. Please include dates. In section II, listen to at least three jazz
albums. One with your instrument another of a big band, and the third of an instrument
different from your own. Write down your impressions of the albums both good and bad.
There are many sources in which to find jazz albums. Music can be found at the library,
on-line, and from Mr. Perazzo. I would be good for you to start your own collection.
