REFILLING STATIONS
• PRODUCT OF WATER REFILLING STATIONS
is a safe source of drinking water. Water undergoes treatment to remove impurities,
undesirable chemicals through filtration or reverse osmosis and eliminate harmful
organism through disinfections using ultraviolet light or ozonation .

The quality of the product water becomes contaminated when WATER REFILLING
STATION OPERATORS do not constantly observe GOOD MANUFACTURING
PRACTICES.

FOR THE PUBLIC

The public is advised to patronize Water Refilling Stations having the following
documents posted in the store:

• Valid sanitary permit.

• Updated result of monthly bacteriological water examination
• Updated result of semi-annual physical/chemical analysis
• Certificate of DOH Training for Plant Operator/Owner
• Valid Sanitation Standard Rating Sticker

Strictly observe the following practices to keep quality product

water at the W ater Refilling Station
Water
• Washing and sanitizing of water containers and caps before refilling.
• Water tenders wearing proper working garments and personal protective equipment such as,
hairnets, facemasks and aprons.
• Refilled product water in containers during the day are temporarily placed in clean and dry
area and delivered immediately to intended client.

Observe the following hygienic practices to protect refilled product

water at home
• Consume the refilled product water in container within a week.
• Store refilled product water in sealed container in dry place.
• Keep empty container properly capped in a clean storage.
• Do not use empty container for other purpose or filled with other liquid.
• Buy refilled water in container only at the Water Refilling Station not in retail or sari-sari store
and on the streets.
