This source is important to my paper because it gives examples of how children with

learning disabilities can overcome their issues. It also provides data from studies on how children

with learning disabilities differ from the average child and how their motivations can be

different. This can also be used to see the different types of teaching styles that can be beneficial

for children with reading disabilities. This article also provides a curriculum that would work

best to improve the skills of a child with learning disabilities.

This peer reviewed article provides information on how technology can play a role in

helping the disabled children. It also provides insight on how technology can be used as a

tool to create a better learning environment for learning disabilities. This source can
provide evidence for how children with learning disabilities can be better accommodated

in the classroom.

Picarddr, Danielle. “Teaching Students with Disabilities.” Vanderbilt University, Vanderbilt

University, 20 June 2018, wp0.vanderbilt.edu/cft/guides-sub-pages/disabilities/.

This article is on the difficulties of teaching a child who has a learning disability. This

article provides insight on what the teacher deals with when teaching children with learning

disabilities. It also helps show what more can be done to help these children and create a safe

learning environment where the children can prosper and grow. This article inspired opinions on

how the classrooms can change to better accommodate the children with learning abilities, but

also opened my eyes to what is already being done in most classrooms to help them. I also know

that the things in this article do not apply everywhere, not all teachers do these things and they

can improve by adopting these ideals.

This website will be very helpful for my essay, it provides tips for each of the kinds of

learning disabilities. It shows the main types of disabilities, tips for the parents, tips for the

teachers, things to look out for, and the different ways that you can approach issues. I found this

article to be especially helpful because I was able to click on the different learning disabilities

and see the struggles that come with each one. I was also able to compare the different tips for

each learning disabilities and see how they are similar and different.
