How HR Managers Retain Great Employees in a Workplace?

The four most important jobs for HR Managers are to hire a right person with talent,

second set of expectations for the employees, to establish the right outcome from the individual

and motivate them, focus on their strengths and weakness, and to develop an individual who is

properly fit for the job. Within the HR field, managers have every right and authority to break

every rule that is perceived in their workplace rule book, when dealing with their customers, to

motivate them, and to development and hiring of the most experience staff. So, the big question

is what do the world’s greatest managers do differently?

They acknowledge the different individual talents and skills attained by each of their

employees. They then provide training, coaching, and development opportunities that will help

the person increase these skills, compensate for or manage around weaknesses and make their

employee stronger in work skill. For example, if you hire an employee who lacks people skills,

but has a tremendous amount of product knowledge, the HR managers appreciate the diversity of

their employee in the work group which leads to more experienced team of members.

Human Resource Managers role in an organization is to strategically access their human

capital. Their main goal is to effectively organize employees in a way that they are able to work

at their full potential resulting in an advantage for the business to become one of the top

competitors. Playing such a vital position in a company, there are certain qualities this individual

must attain in order to drive the business and its people to success. Being able to utilize

interviews to maximize results of candidates can be useful to make sure every addition has the

capabilities to get the job done with the company’s standard in mind.

It takes a lot of time and dedication to be a great HR manager. From my own personal

experience dealing with managers, I have not seen many great managers, but more of ones that

are just doing an okay job. To truly be a great HR manager one would need to be very invested

in his or her employees. The job of an HR manager is very people oriented and making sure all

employees are comfortable and taken care of should be a top priority. Along with being

knowledgeable of HR responsibilities, organizing your employees in a way to be able to work at

their full potential, and also acknowledging every employee’s skill and talents, will all lead to

becoming a successful and great HR manager.
