Grade Goal EDMG 3350

The letter grade I will aim for this half of the semester is an A. Based on the
category descriptions for the grade level defined by Kennesaw State, a student
earning the letter grade of an “A” must exhibit the following characteristics: The
student will show continued mastery of course objectives and a high degree of
intellectual initiative which can be demonstrated by analyzing information, seeking
new ways to this understand information, and connecting this information to other
classes or life experiences.
At the end of the semester, I will be able to justify I have performed at this
grade level by: I will attend every class period except in the case of documented
extreme emergency, and I will attend with all required course materials. I will use
my technology only in ways to support the learning task at hand. I will actively
participate in small group, whole group discussions. I will be able to earn an “A”
by having all homework completed before class and by spending adequate time
completing the homework. To show excellence, I will also come to class with any
questions about the homework, ask questions of my group members during work
sessions when I am confused, try to answer my group members’ questions to be the
best of my ability, and utilize the professor as a resource for gaining understanding
by asking him questions when necessary. When I understand a topic well, I will
volunteer to make present/share my way of seeing the problem to both my group
members and the whole class when appropriate. I will turn in all assignments on
time and completed. Furthermore, what is exceptional trait is, I will correct and
resubmit assignments without being asked based on new information learned in
class and/or from professor feedback on these assignments. I will seek out
additional help whenever I need it to not get behind. After every class, I will keep a
shortlist of reflection(s) on what we did in that class, what I contributed, any
questions I have, and any way I could improve if applicable..
On any given day in class, I will demonstrate I am performing at optimum
grade level by, being a few minutes early to class, by having materials needed for
that class by the time the class starts. I will attend every class with homework
completed before class and only work on only this class during class time. I will
communicate with group members and the whole class and share and questions
ideas respectfully.
