Announcer: Whether it is a hit to the head in a game or

practice

SFX: Background noise is a stadium crowd

cheering. Quarterback yells “hut, hut, hike”.
Players collide with their pads and helmets
while players are grunting. 4 seconds

SFX: Background noise is a stadium crowd

cheering. The sound of a slapshot on ice in a
hockey game is heard followed by players
colliding with each other into the boards in
an ice hockey arena. Players grunt as they
collide with each other. 4 seconds

Announcer: Or a hit to the head in everyday activities

SFX: Background is office noise. Phones

ringing, printers printing and more. Pen can
be heard falling and hitting the floor.

Office worker: Woops, dropped my pen under the desk

SFX: Slight pause while background noise is

still heard. Office worker scoots chair back
and reaches under desk. As he/she is coming
up, a loud thud can be heard as they hit their
head under the desk.

Office worker: Oww!

SFX: Office background noise stops

Announcer: I’m Joe Smith, a neurologist with the

altering effects if not given proper time to

fogginess, headache, or nausea, please seek

medical attention from your doctor or
nearest hospital and allow time for proper
rest to recover. If you know somebody who
has sustained a concussion, allow them the
proper time to rest and recover. Let’s get the
help we need and give proper treatment to
those who have sustained a concussion.
