Comunidades denunciam conflito homem-animal em Mágoe

Durante a formação de paralegais junto aos Comités
de Gestão de Recursos Naturais e Associações de
Agro-pecuários, que a Associação de Apoio e Assis-
tência Jurídica as Comunidades realizou de 29 a 30 de
Abril, as comunidades denunciaram focos de conflito
entre o homem e animais da fauna bravia nas mar-
gens dos rio Mezidie, Morômoe, Metendeze, Impata,
Nhapanda, Doe, Choe e Sarazi, que travessam o Par-
que Nacional de Mágoe, PNM, distrito com mesmo
nome em Tete. Dizem que quando contactam as auto-
ridades do PNM, estas respondem que não possuem
meios nem recursos para mitigação destes conflitos,
resposta que pode ser verdadeira porque num extenso
documento sobre a visão do PNM para o período 2016
-2025, lê-se que “o PNM não possui orçamento pró-
prio nem funciona como uma unidade beneficiária.
Não possui infra-estrutura para funcionamento nem
tem receitas próprias”. Para reverter a situação, nesse
documento designado Plano de Maneio do Parque
Nacional de Mágoe, o parque propõe-se a ser transfor-
mado numa unidade de rendimento, numa primeira
fase, inscrevendo o seu orçamento na Direcção Pro-
vincial de Terra Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Rural. O
PNM chama a si a responsabilidade de iniciar com o
registo de potenciais actividades de geração de renda e
desenvolvimento do turismo como forma de incremen-
tar receitas próprias. A visão do PNM assenta na ges-
tão efectiva e no uso sustentável e desenvolvimento
dos recursos naturais, recuperação e instalação de infra
-estruturas básicas para gestão de recursos florestais e
faunísticos e protecção de espécies ameaçadas garan-
tindo o seu uso sustentável, enquanto promove activi-
dades turísticas, por forma a melhorar os padrões e as
condições de vida das comunidades locais e garantir a
conservação da biodiversidade e a exploração sustentá-
vel dos recursos florestais, faunísticos e pesqueiros e
desenvolvimento de um turismo responsável. O PNM
deve ser uma componente iecológica e económica no
