This document describes the procedure of creating an IBM LTO tape drive dump file with the Windows application ‘itdt’.

1. Prerequisites

- Please download the application ‘itdt’ from the FTS download portal *) .

- Open a command line and extract the downloaded file by executing it.

- Stop all services concerning the backup software and the Windows service ‘Removable Storage’ if applicable. *) The FTS download portal is found at http://ts.fujitsu.com/support/downloads.html .

2. Create the tape drive dump files

- start ‘itdt
