Hoses may be Used in Place of Tubes in the Power

Train Oil Lines on Certain Articulated Trucks {1375,
3016}
SMCS - 1375; 3016

Articulated Truck:

725 (S/N: B1L1-UP)

730 (S/N: B1M1-UP)

730 EJECTOR (S/N: B1W1-UP)

Description of Change: In certain operating conditions, the oil tubes between the
retarder control valve and the power train oil cooler may leak due to corrosion.
Materials may build up in the crankcase guard and contact the tubes. The tubes may be
replaced with hoses which have a higher resistance to corrosion in certain
environments.

Adaptable To: The hoses are not direct replacements for the tubes. Additional parts
are required to replace the tubes with the hoses. Refer to Table 1 for a list of parts
required to replace the tubes with hoses.

The hoses are adaptable to the following machines:

• 725 (S/N: B1L1-UP)

• 730 (S/N: B1M1-UP)
