English: Communicative approach + speaking skills + new vocabulary

DESCRIPTION (CONTENT)

Students will create a stand in which they will have to talk about environmental issues. By groups of four, students will choose
a specific environmental issue (contamination, deforestation, soil erosion), they will do a research about the topic, they will have
to investigate how it has affected the counter, what we can do to start preventing the damage of it in the country, and what could
we do in the past to do not have that damage today in the country. Students will have to use in their stand’s presentation
conditional 2 and 3, modal verbs (should, ought to, must etc), and past perfect.

REQUIREMENTS (ELABORATION)

For the elaboration of the stand, teacher will evaluate the research they done of the topic, the materials they use in the stands,
And all the resources they use in the presentations, the use of language taking into account they use conditionals, modal verbs and
Past perfect. In the last presentation students will have to use images to support the information they give during the stand
Presentation.
1st submission: students will choose the topic and will explain why they choose it.
2nd submission: students will deliver the investigation done by them on the topic taking into account the specifications giving
before.
3rd submission: students will deliver a draft of what they are going to say in the presentation so teacher can check and give
recommendations on it.
Final submission: Presentation of the stand.
