The United Nations Development Programme is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated
Myanmar nationals for the following vacancy with International Trade Centre, Yangon, Myanmar.

VA No. 016/UNDP-HR/2019
Title: Project Management Associate
(Minimum Net Salary– 19,007.64 US$/annum)
Report To: Associate Adviser, CEES, ITC
Position No. 1 post
Contract Type: Service Contract
Grade: SC7 (SB3)
Duty Station: Naypyitaw
Contract Duration: Initial one year

Requirement:
Education and Work experience:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent of degree in international relations, business/ economics with 4 years of
professional experience. OR
Hight School Education with specialize certificate in international relations, business/economics or related fields
with 7 years of professional experience.

Language Requirements:
• Fluency in written and spoken Myanmar Language.
• Advanced English with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Required knowledge and skills:


• Good understanding of project monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills.
• High-level of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Desirable knowledge and skills:


• Professional experience in the area of trade and economic development (e.g. trade/investment
promotion, SME development, public-private dialogue) in Myanmar will be considered an asset.
• Professional experience in project monitoring and reporting, action thinking, target definition, work
planning and resource mobilization will be considered an asset.
