I am taking care of my baby

Arazu, most of the mornings when you are at preschool, you would play
with dolls at the family area. There were some days you would bring your
doll from home to preschool. When I asked you what the name of the
doll was, you said, “Baby.” Usually you would put her in the stroller or
held her in your wherever you go. On this day in the morning, you lay a
blanket on the floor and put the baby on it. Tahlia came and lifted the
other half of the blanket to cover the baby while you went to get an ice
pack. You quickly walked to the baby, picked her up and moved to another
area. You gently put the baby down and placed the ice pack on her. You
then picked the baby up and put her in a cot. You rocked her gently and
would looked down at her. You walked to the doll house and took a spoon.
You sat the baby up and fed her.

Arazu, you were anxious when Talia covered the baby with a blanket.
You were worried that she would take the baby away. You quickly walked
to Talia and stood there, making sure that she would not take the baby
away. You did not take the baby away from Talia because you were
developing trust in Talia that she would not take the baby when she
covered it with the blanket. The teachers will continue to support you in
building trust in and respect for others.
