To our honorable guest speaker Ma’am Leah Menor Antonio; our ever dynamic Schools Division

Superintendent Dr. Joel B. Lopez ably represented by _________________________________;

our active and supportive Assistant School Principal II Mrs. Marjorie M. Rabaja ; our ever-dedicated
faculty and staff of Balatong Integrated School; our dear parents; fellow graduates and completers;
friends; ladies and gentlemen; a pleasant evening.

Ralph Marston once said, "Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude." No one has ever reached to
excellence in any art or profession without having passed through the slow and challenging process of
study. But even if we're already on top, we should not forget where we came from and most especially
we should not forget the people who stays behind our back in good times and in bad times as we achieve
our goals.

This afternoon, I have mixed feelings of joy and sorrow. The spirit of joy surrounds us at this time
because I can see and feel how happy my fellow graduates are. After all the hardwork and long arduous
years of education, we manage to survive. Seeing my batchmates’ faces gives me a flashback of
thousands of memories that we shared with each other. We have shared amazing and beautiful
memories, cried on each other’s shoulders, laughed like there’s no tomorrow, and do crazy things with
each other. But today also brings about a bittersweet reality: we need to move forward and somehow
we will take our separate ways. But before anything gets emotional tonight, allow me to recognize the
wonderful people who primarily brought me to where I am and we are now.

Firstly, I would like to thank God, our Nice Father and Ultimate Provider from up above. Thank
you for all the blessings you have given me and everyone else. I know that I will not be here if not because
of you. Thank you so much, Father. A million thanks to the persons who I owe the greatest of all: mama,
papa, grandma, titas, titos and my sisters. Thank you for instilling lessons in my head that developed me
into a fine young woman. Thank you for supporting me morally and financially. Ma, thank you for
sacrificing to go abroad to provide our needs. I may not say this to you but I'm very lucky because you
are my mother and I love you so much. Sorry if I'm not the best daughter for you. Sorry for disobeying
you sometimes. Sorry ma no nasungsungbatan ka. Ma, these medals are all for you. I hope I made you
proud.

To our class adviser, Ms. Amy Rose Ventura, thank you for being a teacher, a friend and a mother
to all of us and for caring for us like we are your own children. We are very lucky because you are our
adviser. Even if you're always reprimanding us we appreciate it because it is all for own good. You are
our knight in shining armor kase nu adda mangirurumen kanyami ket kasaritam tas bagbagaam. Adda ka
dita nu kailangan mi ti makaskasarita ken pagibagaanmi ti problema. Maam thank you for being there
when I need pieces of advice. Thank you for showing my worth and reminding me that I should not give
up for I have all of you supporting behind my back. We love you so much maam! Di da kan to pulos

knows how lucky I am because I have all of you. I love you all guys.

At times, being excellent really does result from being a good decision maker. Good decision
making helps one person to become a good leader and person. In my teenage years I have realized that
we should not just have fun all the time but at the same time we should not just study all the time.
Balancing fun and work creates an even better individual. Enjoying everything you do makes achieving
things effortless. Sometimes we should not worry so much about where we ranked but we should think
about the joy that we get with what we do.

I know that everyone of us feels extremely happy and our parents are very proud because now
we are able to secure diploma or certificate after all these years. Now, I would like you to enjoin you all
my fellow completers and graduates to push ourselves harder and always aim higher. Let us not aim for
success if we want it; we just need to do what we love, believe and success will come naturally.

Congratulations fellow graduates and completers. Let us make our Dear Alma Mater, Balatong
Integrated School proud. Thank you and mabuhay tayong lahat!
