Humanity is the human race, which includes everyone on Earth. It’s also a word for the
qualities that make us human, such as the ability to love and have compassion, be creative,
and not be a robot or alien.
QUOTATION ON HUMANITY.
If you want to understand the quality of humanity in an individual take note of what he
does for people who give noting back in return to the favour they have offered.
One of the most outstanding examples of extra- ordinary humanity in a human being has
been portrayed beautifully by Mother Teresa. Humanity means caring for and helping
others whenever and wherever possible. Humanity means helping others at times when
they need that help the most, humanity means forgetting your selfish interests at times
when others need your help.
Serving the poor and the disabled is one of the greatest humanitarian help an individual
can provide in his or her lifetime. It is essential to understand the fact that we are
extremely lucky to have everything we desire at any point of the time we need. Serving the
needy means that you yourself think that you have more than enough resources to your
disposal.
The humanities help us understand others through their languages, histories and cultures.
And they reveal how people have tried to make moral, spiritual and intellectual sense of the
world.
Teach us to deal critically and logically with subjective, complex, imperfect information.
And they teach us to weigh evidence skeptically and consider more than one side of every
question.
The humanities develop informed and critical citizens. Without the humanities, democracy
could not flourish.
Strengths of humanity:
Love:
Kindness:
The strength kindness encompasses most related terms that evoke feelings of altruism,
generosity, helpfulness and a general desire to help people. That is, a disposition for
helping humanity.
QUOTATION: “It’s the language of which the deaf can hear and the blind can see”.
People get to know your inner goodness and qualities when you interact with them in a
good way or show a pleasant behavior towards them. We as humans tend to be liked by
everyone around us and to hear verses of praises being said for us. But what's more
important is to present ourselves in a good way, not for people to like us but it's how we
would be wanted to be treated by them. It's like tit for tat. What you give that you get. More
of a karma kind of thing. The wealth and complexity of the individual's social content are
conditioned by the diversity of his links with the social whole, the degree to which the
various spheres of the life of society have been assimilated and refracted in his
consciousness and activity. This is why the level of individual development is an indicator
of the level of development of society, and vice versa. But the individual does not dissolve
into society. He retains his unique and independent individuality and makes his
contribution to the social whole: just as society itself shapes human beings, so human
beings shape society.
We live in a world that has invented the telephone, internet, social media so that people can
communicate easier. But we have never felt so alone and out-of-touch as we do today.
Hidden behind the screens of our computers, tablets, Smartphones, we feel alienated from
what the world has to offer. We have stopped looking at nature a long time ago and we
have started destroying it without thinking about the consequences. We live in a world that
gives birth to great leaders. But we let ourselves be ruled by a small group of politicians
that take the vote of many and make it insignificant. They have the power to change our
lives, but they don`t. And we continue to support them considering that we have no
alternative.
Islamic teachings on humanity and human welfare have been codified in its central
religious book known as the Quran, which the Muslims believe was revealed by God for the
mankind. These teachings have often been exemplified by Islamic prophet Muhammad as
displayed in his sayings and practices.
Similarly, duties to parents, neighbors, relatives, sick people, the old, and the minority
group have been defined in Islam. In a long hadith recorded in Hadith Qudsi (sacred
hadith), it is said that God, on the Day of Judgment, will be displeased with those who do
not care for the sick people, and who do not give food to those who ask. God will
interrogate them and demand explanation from them. This hadith is seen as a reminder of
human beings’ obligation to respond to the needs of others.] The individual, the family,
the state, and the Non-governmental organizations — all are responsible for the
performance of social responsibilities, and for the promotion of social welfare. The Quran
tells that the believers have been sent for the betterment of mankind, that they will
promote what is good, and prevent what is wrong.
Similarly,Rights of of the parents and relative Rights of the neighbors and
For me the most important religion is humanity - just being a good human being defines
you everywhere. All that you need to work upon is being helpful to the needy at all times
and every place. Being loving and caring towards all living beings even plants and animals,
and above all to understand another person’s problem and realise the situations they are in
and be considerate….
