1. TITLE OF THE STUDY


“A STUDY ON WORK STRESS AMONG EMPLOYEES IN THE
ORGANIZATION”.

2. NEED FOR THE STUDY


 To identify the factors causing stress among the employees
 To identify the reasons for stress and try to minimize the symptoms by identify
the cause.
 To find out the level of stress among the employees of different age groups.
 Establishing awareness among the employees.

3. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


This particular study about Work Stress Management is restricted within the
organization. The study is conducted on the employees of the organization. This is not
because of non-availability of resources but the nature of the study itself restricts to
identify the Problems of employees. This study attempts to find out the problems of work
stress among employees in the organization by evaluating current issues in a systematic
manner.

4. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY


 To measure the employees stress.
 Identify situation that causes stress.
 Identify emotional, physical, and mental effects of stress.
 Effect of stress on individual life.
 To study the factors causing stress among employees.
 To study the impact and usefulness of the work stress management.
 To understand and evaluate the causes of stress among employees.
5. SAMPLING
A sample of 100 employees is taken out of a total population of 350 employees.
Based on judgment sampling. The sample is selected in such a way that it includes the
employees of all ages, different designations from different educational streams with
distinct experience from various departments.
